…you really do!
Supporting the mental health of youth, especially young girls improves our ability to live healthy, satisfying, and meaningful lives. Young girls mental health as it relates to self-image and confidence is being affected constantly with the introduction of social media and magazines which is why it’s important to me as a Gen-Z’er to bring attention to young teens/girls showing them “All Girls Matter”.
Kids who are bullied are more likely to experience depression, anxiety, increased feelings of sadness and loneliness, changes in sleep and eating patterns, and loss of interest in activities. They are more than twice as likely to miss, skip, or drop out of school.
Thankfully I reached out to a trusted adult and am now healthy mentally. I strongly advise other youth to make a stand and advocate for themselves when facing a bully.

“Breast Cancer awareness is vital to the health of 276,480 women just this year who will be diagnosed with the disease. As Miss Black Florida Talented Teen through @lavidaabila I’m able to support this local Latina owned business as well as make people more aware of this health challenge.”
I had a blast speaking at the “Global Leadership Conference
I spoke on the topics: youth community service, youth entrepreneurship, and school safety!
I've attended the HOPE Global Forum since I was around 9yrs old, attending three times.
The HOPE Global Forums are a community designed to galvanize thought and action around building an economy that works for everyone. They accomplish this through a series of carefully curated thought leadership events, digital engagement, research and writings, and public policy.
I’ve seen the significant effects of community service; going through homelessness and being socioeconomically disadvantaged at a young age, God, hard work, and acts of kindness put my family and me on our feet. Ever since then, I’ve put my life’s purpose into helping others.
From eight years old to seven years later, as a fifteen-year-old, I've spent my time giving back in any way I can. From 2020-2022 alone, even through the pandemic I’ve volunteered with over fifteen organizations including New Future Foundation Inc, a United Nations NGO, donating computers and tablets to disadvantaged children in Jamaica. racking up over 4,000 volunteer hours which has made me eligible to be awarded the Lifetime Achievement Service Award, which was granted by the President of the United States.
Currently, I’ve improved our global community virtually by founding and trademarking "Reading With Royalty.” Reading With Royalty is an initiative that has partnered with select Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals with over 500 readers from 50 states, 2 U.S territories, and seven countries: Canada, Australia, Greece, England, Jamaica and the Netherlands. Though Reading with Royalty, volunteers read to children at various hospitals and schools virtually.
As Miss Florida Teen USA, I intend on adding to my 76 appearances through America as a titleholder, and bettering our communities nationally and internationally through the power of community engagement.
Your contribution will support my dreams and continue my pageantry journey. I'm very grateful for your generosity.
